can you give someone advanced sensors + push the limit and then do you're action before moving, PTL and then do a green maneuver to remove stress or does PTL only work with the normal action?

Yes. You can use Advanced Sensors to act, trigger PtL, then green to clear the stress. Note, however, that the free action has to be one that's on your action bar. I've seen that overlooked a lot.

Just be careful not to use Adv Sen to Push the Limit to take a stress and then reveal a red move. Can't do a red move with a stress. Your opponent picks your move then, that'll get your into trouble.

And (I know this might be well known and thus this comment is redundant) remember that you skip the Action phase if you've used Advanced Sensors

Yes. Doing so with a ship that has both Boost and Barrel-Roll gives you a substantial cloud of movement possibility, to the point that you can get to just about anywhere with any shown maneuver on your dial.
