I am still wondering about making the trip to Indy this year. It's getting a bit late to start organising now, but hey ho...

I thought I would see if any other mad people might be making the trip?

A group of five are making the trip, four of us from Milwaukee and one guy from Colorodo. I tried getting in on some Talisman events but the couple put out by FF were bought up within minutes of the registration. I did however get three tickets to a first edition game, which should be interesting. We are also playing a lot of Heroscape.

Yeah, I can't wait. It's first vacation the girlfriend and I have been on in a few years. I hope FF has a decent set up going as there are a few games I'd like to play before buying - Kingsburg, Ticket to Ride, Cavetroll and maybe Descent.

You should go! It would be fun to meet someone from the forums, maybe go out for a beer after the con or something.

I am still looking into ways to make it cost effective by having a few days in another couple of places whilst I am over there. Not sure about the beer as I have given up (for the moment) and my daughter might get a little jealous. She is 19 and will be unable to drink in the US which does not please her! It would be cool to meet up with some people even if it just to say hi!

We might do the whole New York thing on the way and call somewhere else on the way back... Miami? Washington? Toronto? Not decided as yet...

I think I will be coming and going at the convention over the four days and have not signed up for anything but my daughter is a player of MtG and D&D so she will have stuff to do. I think my son would probably prefer to visit some local skate parks... we shall see how it all pans out.
