Rules in regards to cards

By Sonikgav, in X-Wing

Ok im pretty new and havent really played outside casual games with friends.

Whats the rulings when it comes to having all the upgrade cards present in store events/competition play etc? I plan on buying a Lambda shuttle, but im not too keen on buying 3 just so i can have Advanced Sensors/Heavy Cannons on each of my B-Wings for example.

I kind of assumed i would need the cards present, so knowing i need 2 Tacticians for an upcoming list ive ordered 2 E-Wings but didnt mind because A. The small models dont cost much, and B. I wanted to try out the E-Wings eventually anyway. Its a different story when it comes to packing out with 3 £25 shuttles.

In official FFG events, store championships or regionals etc., you need to have a copy of each upgrade card you are using. So in your example you would need three different copies of AS.

good news for you...the E comes with advanced sensor cards.

Ah cool.

The sites ive been looking at said that only the Lambda has the Sensors and the E Wings are the only ones that come with Tactician.

Well then, despite the mis-information it looks like the 2 Phantoms, 2 E's and a Lambda will kit me out with everything i need :D regardless.

If you have friends that also play and have copies of cards you need and they aren't using them you could always ask to borrow them for the tourney.
