Quick transport rule question.

By NateWolfman, in X-Wing

So, what happens If front of the transport is out of range for the attacker, but the back is in range, however measuring the middle of the attacker to the middle of the back to check for blocking hits the back line so the back isn't shoot able.

According to the rules I can't attack the back because the front is blocking but I can't attack the front cuz it's not in range. It logically makes no sense, but is that right?

I suppose maybe with the Tantive's weapons...

In which case, no you cannot shoot. For explanation, I don't have one.

I received a response from Frank that I posted in madquest8's link. The illogical reasoning part was weighed over the numerous exceptions that they would have had to do to work around the blue line rule so they ruled that illogical way to keep it simple.

I'm not a fan of this ruling but it is what it is.

I have an answer. At angles like this the deflector shields are ao efficient as to be indestructable, even when down mostly out of power. Bam. I win.
