Just thought I would share something that happened in my most recent game session. It is rather impressive and laughter, groans and shouts of “what the f*ck?” abound. I was going to introduce myself and the group, but the below just has to be told first.

It all started with them on a ork monster battlewagon, charging towards a mass of orks on other battle transports and in an area of big WAAAAARGH (aka a ork space craft preparing to blast off)
Then things got odd.
They were playing around with switches and someone was playing around with a four wheeled jeep thing in the back (which actually was a mobile warp cannon, but that was to give them an advantage in the mass melee)
This is where things went wrong, all at once.
The tech priest pulled the final lever on the huge dump truck, which hit the booster rockets into downward mode, aka flight/jump mode. The people (the cleric and the scum) on the warp cannon worked out to go fast was to push forward the levers and so caned it. The psyker managed to f*ck up a power roll and swapped brains with a random thing nearby, which was an attack squig. Therefore this attack squig mind was in the psykers body, and vice versa.
So warp cannon, with caged squigs is flying off the dump truck, the dump truck is starting to fly and sends the cannon flipping around. And the psykers body is trying to bite the driver (guardsman) of the dump truck.
THIS IS WHERE IT GETS WEIRD!
The pskyer in the body of the squig is rather rattled, so tries using more powers. Manages to f*ck up again (he know the area was dangerous to use powers in) but this time REALLY BAD. He ends up having an unbound demonhost come in and take over the squig body, stuck in a cage on this mobile cannon flipping through the air.
At this point the people on the dump truck are now starting to freefall and at the same time trying to throw the psykers body into the jet engines to "cleanse" him as he was obviously demon tainted trying to bite everyone and squeeking at them. Well they miss the jet so in freefall the body is flailing around.
The demonhost, being super intelligent works out why it is in a squig body and so kills the squig body to transfer, with the psykers soul, back into the psyker body. Increasing it's power as it does so.
Therefore the floating body that was thought to be demon tainted became REALLY demon tainted. And it is right near to an untouchable (the guardsman, allowed him just because of cool backstory and used it as a rating system that could run parrellel in elite advances to the imperial psykers), the things that demons hate most.
Knowing it can't use it vast psychic powers on the untouchable it rips off (telepathically) a boost rocket and starts turning it to burn the untouchable to death. The untouchable charges into combat. Well he can't be effect directly so the demonhost talks inside to the psyker, asking to borrow his power. Pysker doesn't know it is the demonhost and so ok. Therefore demonhost has enough power (boosted just a little by the psyker) to dominate someone else (the arbite) to attack the untouchable. Therefore getting a gang up bonus on the untouchable.
Things are looking bad, and only get worse when the untouchable manages a critical hit with righteous fury nearly killing the demon host (amazing rolling on his side).
So the demonhost knows it is weaked in the area and will have trouble, especially in the weak and nearly dead body. So it decides to take the untouchable with it to the warp, to torment for eternity and opens a large gate under itself and the untouchable. Not caring who else went. But in order to have the certain power to do it it asked again inside for aid from the psyker "help me destroy the empty one and I will leave your body and soul here". So the psyker went "ok" and gave his power to the demonhost again. Therefore the demonhost opened the gate. And there was a hard dodge for the untouchable to not fall into the warp, and an easy one for the dominated one to not fall in, the demonhost automically fell in. Well both dodges failed and the demonhost had lied to the psyker so took him back in with him.
Therefore the untouchable was in the warp in a bubble of safety but going mad, the other one (the arbite) went in and was warped and insane. And the psyker burnt a fate point to survive (there was a way) and so ended up popping out of the warp cannon as it fired (it was firing all this time off to the side fo all this with the two safe people on it).
Well for helping the demon and being in the warp the psyker gained 20odd insanity (and that was with a great willpower roll) and 45 corruption. He has since decided his character being a true believer in the Emperor who had a mistake (the first time he lent his power he didn't understand it was the demon asking, excusable just about as the demon didn't introduce itself etc.) and a moment of weakness (he hated the untouchable and vice versa), so his character is killing himself to try and cleanse his soul.
Therefore 3 character endings last night, two lost in the warp (the untouchable is staying to p*ss off the demons as that is what he wanted to do anyway, and the other one didn't want to come back as he failed so badly he was a gibbering wreck on about 75 insanity in one massive swoop.

I felt so bad with it, but the bad rolling by the psyker (he even had rerolls on the psychic phenomena chart to try and safeguard it but got worse on his second roll both times) sort of brought it on.
One of my players insisted I write this up here though, and as an introduction post I would say how weird it is. On the other hand this group and myself seem to always get “interesting” occurances happening.
