Yeah I fixed it, thanks for the heads up buddie.

I still have so many of those miniatures... I think two complete Cases of Imperial stormtroopers alone. Oh and 3 of the AT-AT's.

It is just fun. Every time I review my ships tokens and such, as I conduct battles, there the little heroes and villains will be looking up at me...

But why is there a Catwoman in that pile? :)
I mean .. she is sexy and all.. but so far from Batman might feel lonely! :)

*at least it looks like a Catwoman... hahahahah*

Btw. im actually looking for those... where you can get them?

I actually want these pilots...

I got three Cheetahs too just this week. I am going to use the girls to make X-Wing Girls.

Look for STAR WARS Miniatures at any game seller. I got mine from Miniatures Market & Cool Stuff.

:)

Thanks for all of the visits to the Blog gang, I hope it was a fun little article.

:)

It is kind of wacko, but I love the idea of having the people in the ships amidst their ships paperwork.

 ...yeah, that's right.

I started several projects on this very same idea- I was doing a line of 3 3/4" action figures of the major characters in our Star Wars RPG group- had card fronts and backs as well! Then I decided to do Star Wars Miniatures for them as well- had an entire set (with boxes) planned and half completed, along with a specialty pack the size of the Clone Wars intro set. Was ultimately planning a set the size of the Hoth set, too! I have all the parts for the custom minis and most of the cards were done. But now I'm going to work on customs for X-Wing! Got to get my old PC running as I don't know if my copy of Photoshop will run on Windows 7.

It should, but you need to update it probably. I use good ole GIMP myself.

As always there are more pictures in the full Preview Article at B6*R7.

:)

I still need to get a few more figures but I have a good set for the main characters now, and I have plenty to covert into other Heroes and Villains.

I am working on a model of, well... me... but me in X-Wing. I am also starting a female Sith for my Jedi & Sith collection... because.

This is going to be fun I think.

I am also thinking of a somewhat similar side project...25mm Star Wars Skirmish using X Wing style dice mechanics... I have a few unpainted models to get started with.

Can my mini-characters play too?

That miniature SW game was awesome, too bad its dead now. I only have a mandalorian ship.

Sure you can!

Cummon over...bring the toys!.

:)

I used to have gobs of those Miniatures that we used modified Heroscape rules / character cards to play with.

It was a lot of fun.

I have seen a lot of hate for these models being per-painted in a sweat shop or whatever.

Now that I have striped off the paint on a few...these models are pretty dang well done, under their not so hot paint jobs.

Touch-ups will make these very nice.

Is it just the base size that makes those look smaller than 25mm?

They are only 10mm tall, R2-D2 is about 4mm. The base size is 25mm however.

They are from the AMT Classic Kits too!

I had them WAYyyy back in the day.

SHUT UP. The Echo Base/Walker Attack one!!??

I never should have let my mom make me sell that at a garage sale.

Yup... I blew mine up with guns and stuff...once I had grown up.

1. Thanks for making me feel better about my childhood mistakes in comparison to yours.

2. I have, for years, held forth that the less concerned one is about being "grown up" the more "grown up" one is.

3. Numbered lists are cool.

So I'm confused as to what this project is all about.

I get that you're using mini figs to represent the various pilots (and crew?) in the game, but how so? Just have them chilling next to their respective cards like the number identification markers?

All true...

Yup it really is just that simple...and cool.

I am also going to have all of the cards and stuff on nice card game mats, the cool kind that are like mouse pads. Black for The Empire, Red for The Alliance and so forth.

^_^

I am even going to get matching faction logo shirts that are the same colors as the mouse-card-pads for the factions...because F*#%-It...I can.

Neat huh?

What a memories with this game, I really love it, it was a shame to finish, maybe FFG geives us a similar or better with characters, even with the status of legends, greettings.
