My FLGS has also said it'll be out next week. They said they got an email from FFG.
Back on topic, I wish the stores around here got products closer to the release date. I've got a weekend of gaming coming up, and it'd be amazing to have the new pieces....

I equally feel the same about the ships not being here this week,
Or having to pay 50-75 on ebay for one, two weeks early.

Another thing that is odd.... my FLGS allowed us to pre-order wave 4 last weekend. They normally don't let us pre-order until something is a week out.... so I'm now starting to wonder if retailers know something that we don't.

Something does sound a little fishy; it does seem like TCov think that the ships will actually be in their paws next week. Maybe by the end of the week, they mean? Maybe FFG slipped up and didn't update the boat status (doubtful given the high profile of x-wing).
But stealth releases don't seem like their bag of tea, either. Very mysterious.

If that's the case that Wave 4 is dropping next week, then Rebel Aces could drop at Gen Con is a distinct possibility -- I think.
I would not be surprised if Wave 4 drops next week, but I'm not counting on it. It's certainly a viable scenario. However, I'm more sanguine about the following week. Either way, i would be quite surprised if it isn't this month.
