Mister 'rugi: Not so papercuts.

By aslum, in UFS Deck Building

So my roommate, who's just getting into the game made a Mitsurugi deck w/ some of my cards (mostly just Soul Calibur) and it's pretty **** good. When all of your attacks are 2-4 difficult and get a free +2 damage it makes them way undercosted. I keep most of my cards at the store, but he's likely to be building the deck at the house, so I'd like some suggestions and I can bring the cards home to give him some options.

Pure fire build.

Current deck:

36 attacks (4each)

Execution Technique First Rite

Fire Shadow

Hurricane Kick

Knee Seduction

Midnight Lawnchair

Prime Moon Shadow

Snap Kick

Sweeping Tail Strike

Zi Mei's Wheel Kick

6 Assets

4x Ready for ANything

2x Autumn's Kiss

28 Foundations

Adoration

Bitter Rivals

Commitment to Excellence

Drifter

Impressive Physique

Quest For Vengeance

White Magic

Bitter Rivals and the Lawnchairs are late additions I did, and I kind of just shoved them in.

Any suggestions? What to take out, what to add? Foundations that might be useful?

In it's previous incarnation third turn kills were not uncommon, and 2nd turn not impossible.

I think this might speed things up a bit, but again, suggestions for cards we've overlooked would be great.

Some cards I'm considering suggesting, or that have recently been taken out: Pommel Smash, Wind Dance, The Street Life, Sting Like A Bee, Savage Fighter ...

I don't see any reason to have Fire Shadow in there apart from the stats: I'd much rather have Pommel Smash, considering that you have absolutely nothing else to deal with annoying foundations/characters, because redux makes 'rugi cry. Manifest Destiny also looks like it can fit in without too much trouble.

Also, this deck has a truckload of attacks; does it really run that way? I get 24, because they're all dirt cheap, but 36?
