Hey I just recently broke off my B-Wings right cannon. I have the piece but am not sure glue will keep it there, so i wanted to ask people what there experiences are with repairing the gun.
Thanks in advanced!

super glue....
I just cut off the other one on mine so they match.
I broke mine when I got it out of the packaging. I photographed it and sent in a request to FFG and they sent me a new one to replace it.
I need to replace one of mine as well, and I've been looking around for something to use. I know one fellow X-Winger who used the spring bar from a watchband. He cut it in half and used the two ends which look like laser cannons. I'm thinking to go that route right now.
Don't use just any super glue. Pick up an odorless superglue, as odorless superglue doesn't fog like other superglue. I use stuff called super gold that I recommend.
Mine broke over Imdaar and I used plastic glue to fix mine. Pick a plastic glue with a needle applicator. Testors makes one. The other ones will get glue or glue hairs all over.
"Super glue" is the trade name for cyanoacrylate. Accelerator is great, but be warned, it makes the bond more brittle.
i had my little brother find my b-wing and falcon, and "play" with them by smashing one into another.
After hunting for the barrels in the carpet with a magnifying glass and finding them, I was able to glue back on the 3 b-wing barrels and the falcons lower quad gun barrels just fine.
Use super glue! You cant even tell that the barrels were broken anymore! (plastic super glue, like galeforce 9 or something)
Starloc Adhesives in the UK do an accelerator that dries clear and flexible compared to normally set CA. Their CA is the best I've used. Link to the product -

For fixing parts like the lasers I would drill the broken parts and used a length of metal rod to reinforce the joint.
I had the additional problem of not finding the broken gun piece. I took the straight edge of a paper clip and replaced both guns so they looked alike. Using super glue. Then I primed and painted the metal paper clips to match the dark grey. They look indistinguishable from a distance and up close they just look like straight barrels, which isn't quite as cool because there is no detail on the tips.
when small pieces brake off of my minis i typically use a very tiny bit of "green stuff" along with the super glue. works really well..
super glue....
Same thing happened to me and and super glue worked perfectly. The trick was just to get the cannon to sit in the right position while the glue dried.
I have used plain old loctite for all my mini's, it works just fine and is unnoticeable, but the barells on the b-wing are probably toast since they just dont have the surface area to get a good bond.

I have to ask . . .
Whatever possessed you to think this was even approaching a good idea?
Thanks for all the replys, i think i'll pick up some plastic super glue my next trip to my FLGS. They have tons of glues, i'm sure they have it!
