Happy happy got my Tantive today,and then thought how am I going to store/transport it. The rest of my ships I have in the "Really Useful " 4 ltr size plastic boxes with the 16 compartment insert and stationary insert for the bits, with out thinking I placed my tantive in one of the empty boxes and it fits perfectly in lenght and is deep enough to put the lid on , and also has room for the transport and all the bits bases etc relevent to epic ship play so with the addition of foam dividers I now can transport my big ships safely

I'm storing my Tantive in the original boxing for the time being. There is just enough room to squeeze my GR-75 in alongside it and they both sit snugly in there. Given that it will rarely travel, I'll leave it there until I pick up a Battlefoam bag later in the year.

I found a shoe box at Wal-Mart for $5 that fits the CR90 perfectly. Its exactly the right depth and width and about 1/4" longer than the ship. A spare piece of foam to support the fore section and keep it off the lower turret and its a perfect solution. Faded Glory was the brand name.

And my wife got a pair of shoes (and I got some brownie points) into the bargain.

When I was out today, I found this at my local Staples for $8.99. It's a 6.5-liter Really Useful Box.

At first, I tried filling the box with foam, but then I compared it to the packaging the Tantive IV came in and it's almost the same size. So, I trimmed the plastic a bit, and now it fits like it was part of the box. I just have to glue it in.

I used a 3 inch Battle foam tray had plenty of room for the Tantive IV and the Transport as well

Can someone measure the length width and height of the plastic calm shell that it comes in. You can also measure the box and range ruler as well, thanks
