The Turrets are obvious. The single turbo lasers can't be missed, and I am assuming the quad laser cannons are the four ball looking things underneath the single turbo lasers. All of these are located on the fore section of the CR90, but you can equip one secondary to the aft. Where are the guns on the aft??

Don't read to much into your it. Sometimes game designers are known to take liberties with the placement of ships equipment to balance play.
The 4 ball things are the escape pods. The rear guns are the farthesy back set of guns, which can be set as either Quads or Single Turbolasers.
I assume it is the rear most turret mounted guns that are more midship than aft.

just swap the sensor at the bact for a turret at the front if it bothers you
i like there not being any visable gun can make your opponet think there are no aft guns
