Imperial Duces...

Alright...

So how about improving the Imperials "best"? What would take Kir and Lorrir to the next level? Asking you to predict the future a little here. Here's my random ideas:

-Mod that requires the Royal Guard title and gives them an EPT! Takes up your one mod spot you just gains to give them something they already should have had. Only really matters for Lorrir, Kir, and Fel's Wrath! And any other PS 4+ pilot hey make for the interceptor that doesn't come with an EPT. Even fits fluff: many of the guard were force sensitive. Might need to specify that you can't take an EPT if you already have one...wouldn't want the rebels{***} to feel like we're stepping on thier toes...oh wait, yes we do!

-Evade token generator. Gotta be limited somehow but it would make a few ships really shine: Kir, Turr, Fel, Recon Firesprays... Might be too much. Might be why we don't have it... Or maybe that's why Kir got hosed: it's coming! Maybe a precombat at hand off rather than straight up generation.

This would make them real Aces and not "also flew".

Throw it on the cheapest pilot you got with an EPT and any ship you got in firing arcs you can evade to help their suvivabiliy.

I like the idea, but it would have to be cheaper than Squad Leader.

And why would it have to be cheaper than SL? It's giving a free action and at a larger range... and at a better point in the game... and with no PS requirement... and no downside. Heck, if anything it should be 3 points.

Maybe the larger range makes it fair, but a Squad Leader'ed ship can perform, any action available to it. Limiting it to just an evade action, while useful, takes that away.

I'd probably pay 2 for it...same cost as wingman then.

I'm not entirely sure that the Interceptors need another boost. They seem to be doing just fine post Transport. That, and high pilot skill will make some interesting dodging matches vs the Phantom.
