With Lu chens second ability say i play a reversal and it deals damage........I put 2 of my opponents foundations into thier card pool

So what happens when i discard those foundations from the card pool do they still get added back to my opponents staging area?

Read the rest of the card. I believe it says "Those cards are added to your opponents staging area commited during their end phase" or something to that effect.

I think the question is valid as he is talking about changing the game state by discarding those cards. The once the cards have left the card pool due to your card effect, they will not remember that they should be added and as such will not be added.

if you discard them due to a card effect during the combat phase, they will be discarded to the discard pile.

Lu Chen only states they drop to staging area during the end phase, if they leave the card pool during a different phase than lu chen has no effect.

I assume you mean something like the new action "F: discard all cards from both players card pools"

If they leave the card pool and go to an out of play zone, the ability will no longer be capable of tracking those foundations.

awesomr it looks like i can play keep away with my opponents foundations this way although i dont know many good discard effects that arent forms or require your opponent to play another attack afterwards....like make a difference for example
