I'm reaching out to my UK friends here - I hear a rumor that there's a Chewy Alt Art card in circulation over there, what's it from? And why haven't I heard of it before (also, when will we gets our across the pond?)

I'll check with the guy from our group, he was one of the TO's at the tourney and took the pic.
But as far as I can tell you're correct so far. He will get back in touch and I'll post (if not ninja'ed)
Those look nice. They need those in the states.
US Nationals will be at GenCon this year. I would assume the US National Champion will get these as well.

I don't think they'll get one... If you look at Gencon's events, the X wing tourney is listed as:
