Lando and Ten Numb

Would the following be viable:

Lando + Veteran Instincts + Nien Nunb + Jan Dodoona + Anti Pursuit Lasers

Ten Numb + Heavy Laser Cannon + Proton Torpedoes (x2)

Not sure if the HLC and 2 Proton Torps are overkill or a waste of points.

Dodonna is a Huge ship only crew.

some of the squadron builders available don't have that restriction listed. in addition on if an upgrade is "limited"

First, a two ship build will have problems getting enough damage out. Second, the HLC and the two PTs on Ten Numb compete with each other for use, as they all have the same range. Couple that with the fact that Ten will be the initial target (kill one pilot and remove two pilot abilities, as Lando can't pass actions to ships that are space junk), and it's likely that the B-wing will be dead either with the torpedoes still in the tube or without having fired the HLC.

I like the idea of two Numbs flying together even though I dont find either of them that effective.

However, in addition to the issues mentioned above, isnt Ten's native ability at odds with HLC?

Also APLs on a PS9 ship is unlikely to be successful.

How about dropping all the upgrades bar Niet, VI and maybe one PT then adding another ship?

Drop Lando in favour of Etahn, to get the Dodonna effect.

Drop ALL secondaries off of Ten AND Jan Dodonna (Dodonna is illegal anyway) and add another X-wing. You won't get anywhere with two ships, and it was mentioned above, Lando's ability requires another ship or its wasted points, so if you lose the B-wing early (likely), then you've lost two pilot abilities.
