While at first I thought there wasn't much to this topic, after reading the results of this thread -
- Imdaar's top picks on ships seemed to be pretty diverse. So the question is, which is your favourite ship out of Wave 4 and why?
Then, for bonus points, out of all the waves, which is your favourite ship?
For wave 4 is have to say the Phantom. For its punch, manueverability, and unpredictable. I think it's probably the deadliest out of the 4.
Out of all the ships, the Tantive.
Though that's not really in a wave category.
Maybe the shuttle, or interceptor, and possibly the new phantom

I'm generally a Rebel player, but the the phantom has to be my favorite. It's the only ship that brings something totally new to the game. The Z95 is kinda bleh. Blount is awesome, but the ship is a little lame (unless you have a lot of em). The Defender is neato, but it's expensive and it's nothing new to the game, just an apex ship. The Ewing is something newer for the Rebels, it's my second favorite. nearly as mobile as an Awing with the firepower of an Xwing, oh and it can also barrel roll and take Adv Sensors. Awesome.
The Phantom is just so unique. The other 3 ships are just improvements or rehashes on what's already available. The Phantom just brings something entirely new to the game. I'm glad I got one this weekend.

Interceptors are my current over all favorite but I have a feeling the Defender or the Phantom may replace them

I'll go for the Z-95.
It's the one Wave 4 ship that doesn't break my Star Wars Universe. (Clearly, YMMV.)
Well, I got a Defender but haven't gotten a chance to play with a Phantom yet, so I can't say for sure. I have used my Defender only against unskilled opponents, so don't have any true road test for it yet. So I honestly don't know out of wave 4.
However overall, right now I would say my favorite ship is the Interceptor. There's more pilots for it that I like than any other ship save TIEs, including but not limited to Soontir Fel, Carnor Jax, Kir Kanos and Turr Phennir.
I liked the phantom. Makes me want to make a "tokyo drift" list.
The phantom is definitely the ship I'm looking forward to the most! :-)
Z-95. Blount is awesome, and my long-awaited counter to swarms. The threat of an auto-splash assault missile is going to be amazing for controlling movement even if it never really does much damage. And fluff-wise it's a ship I love and have been eagerly anticipating since I got into the game. The phantom is a close second for all the insane maneuvering tricks the high-end pilots can do.
Favorite overall is clearly the b-wing. I've loved the ship for as long as I've been a Star Wars fan, and advanced sensor b-wings are just fun to fly.
I won our local Imdaar event and I picked the E-wing. I really wanted the droids and while I like the z-wing I feel that while I can have only one ship the E-wing is a better pick.
The E-wing also won me the final game by doing a doubleattack against the surviving Defender, TL, Focus and FCS is brutal on Corran Horn!
I REALLY like the Phantom, which makes me happy because that's what I got. I do, however, think the E-wing is a better bang for the buck. The E-wing is a good ship and the upgrade cards are WAY better in the E-Wing, plus the E-Wing doesn't have the hard counter of Han shoots first. I just cannot envision a scenario where a Phantom would ever kill a Han shoots first that has initiative. So you better bring friends that can kill Han.
So I have to go E-Wing.
