Hi,
I won a Z-95 yesterday. Unfortunately one of its engine tips is missing, and another is half in place. I'll eventually just glue this one back, but does anybody know what I could use to replace the missing one?
Thanks in advance!

Sorry double post. Please delete this one.
Paint a little engine glow and don't sweat it. Rebel ships were always in disrepair.
An email to FFG Customer Service?
Congrats on the win though.
Plastic tubing is available at any train store, if you live by a GW talk to Ork players and you'll run into someone like me with 25' of plastic tubes meant for conversions.
Also you might find parts in mechanical pencils that could be cut up and repurposed at this scale. I'm specifically thinking of lead tubes or eraser holders, once you find something to scale you might cut off the other 3 and replace them all. I used parts from Bic pencils for gun barrels on my Orks.
Agreeing with Hexis. Contact FFG customer service. They'll send you a new one. And the Two z-95's. And unlike a lot of easy glue replacements we see complained about, you actually should get a new one. From there, paint it to look slagged, maybe even carve a little chunk out of the back to make it look like an epic battle scar.
Contact FFG customer service, they can probably replace it. They are usually very cooperative. I have to contact the them too, regarding a Y-wing that I bought without looking to much at it when I bought it. Only to realize that it was glued at an angle and it is totally crooked.. I am going to ask for a replacement.
Ok thanks for all your advices!
I'll try what Sanchez suggests since I live near a GW store, and contact Edge Entertainement (french equivalent to FFG) as well.
So after a little bit of DIY here's my Z-95:
It looks like it got pimped by Xzibit!
Edited by Francesco LamasWere you present when they opened the models? They came in their retail packaging and hopefully did not get opened until the finals round, so you could observe the care of all the models.
You should mail it to me so that I may look at it first hand ;-)
Were the Z-95 engines made by Harley-Davidson???
I'd have suggested that you mangle the broken edge with a blade, paint it black, and call it battle damage.
Yeah. Contacting FFG's Customer Service would be my choice.
Don't forget to add that photo to document the issue.
Good luck.
Never mind
Edited by perniciousducksLooks awesome. I think you have voided your warrantee though :-P

Yes I opened it myself, since I played rebels during the finals. We were all staring at the new minis and then someone noticed it was damaged. I'm pretty sure I opened the blister with care.
Now I think I'll just wash it black and paint the engine glow.
And that's it!
I like it... especially painted up, wasn't too keen on the shiny brass look. But I do think that the glow is a bit too pink. With engines that big, I would expect an extremely hot "flame" (yeah yeah yeah, no such thing in space) and the pink just doesn't do that for me.
I think this actually looks better
What did you use for the cowlings?
Thanks!
It was something very close to this:

It's a bracelet clasp.
Nice find
Edge Entertainment just send me a new one.
I'm impressed with the quality of the user support!
