This looks like fun:

17: Tala squad w/ ion missiles, munitions failsafe

Lots and lots of synergy here. Jake can either take a focus action, receive focus at the start of combat, or at PS 6--mid-combat. Since receiving those tokens allows him to take an action, he can trigger PtL at any of those 3 moments too.

So he can move then take whatever action. Then at the start to combat he can receive a focus and boost/Farrell roll, trigger PtL, and take whatever other action. Farrell rolling AFTER every ship has moved is pretty crazy. Doing that AND boosting is even crazier.

Or, if you want both Garven and Kyle to stack him you could:

1) move

2) TL

3) receive focus from kyle

4) Farrell roll

5) receive focus from Garven

6) boost

7) trigger PtL for evade

That's right. He TLed, evaded, boosted, barrel rolled, and has 2 focus for the turn! Rinse. Repeat.

This is the kind of list I love, but the offensive potential is a little low, despite your action economy. You're pretty tanky, but not untouchable.

Still it looks like a ton of fun to play. I'll give it a spin as a subset of an Epic Squad at some point alongside Dutch, I'm sure.

Yeah its certainly not meta-changing but it just looks like so much fun. Jake is really hard to pin down as it is, with up to 2 bros throwing eyeballs his way, he'll bounce around like a but!

I especially like that he can be blocked and STILL take up to 3 actions and have 2 focus!

I ran a list that relied on focus passing, though not as well made, but I happened to be up against carnor jax in an escalation league. Dismantled in 3 minutes. Its a great idea, but there will be counters to every clever plan. So you'll have to accept that there will be lists you will have no shot at

Lots and lots of Jax in my area. He's a bastard through and through. Definitely my priority target with this list. I just can't help but obsess over how ridiculous Jake is, especially with some buddies to toss pogs his way.
