My Imdaar Alpha event

By That One Guy, in X-Wing

So today I took 3rd at the Imdaar Alpha event at Gamer's Sanctuary in Flint. I won 2 out of my 3 matches (lost to Phild0), had a great time, hopefully got some new members into our Monday night league, and met someone from this forum in person!

This is the squad I ran, in both matches that I won I destroyed the entire opposing squad.

Soontir Fel + PtL + RGT + Shield Upgrade + Hull Upgrade

Krassis Trelix + HLC + Mercenary Copilot

Mauler Mithel + Expert Handling

That Krassis is a beast. I claimed a TIE Defender as my prize, then even got to play a match with him afterwards (Brath is awesome , by the way). All in all, a great day.

I did Krassis-HLC, RecSpec

Howlrunner

3Academies, went 2-0 to make it to the finals, lost used Brath(I agree I love him especially with Predator) and I enjoyed him so much I took him over the Phantom

Yeah, I really loved the Merc Copilot. I frequently used my kiograns to ensure range 3. Some of the critical hits I handed out were brutal too. My first match was against Roark, Wedge (swarm tactics), a Blue and Rookie. One crit against wedge disregarded his EPT and pilot ability, the second (from Soontir) blew off Roark's ion turret. with his PS advantage neutralized, scraping his PS 2's off my boots was far too easy (but rewarding). I did however lose Mauler in the first round of firing also, before he ever got off a single shot. So the bad luck was even on both sides.
