Biggs-Luke-We Corran?

Luke Skywalker

Corran Horn

Now, with this set-up Corran's taking the place of Wedge Antilles, or 2 Rookies.

He gets FCS and Marksmanship to get the full effect out of his ability (of gaining an extra attack in the End phase, at the cost of an attack the following round)

His ability puts him at between the damage increase between Wedge and 2 Rookies, with an excellent Pilot Skill level.

Luke's build is nothing new.

Biggs, on the other hand, is sporting my suggestion for the best points-survivability spread he can get. Veteran's Instinct will allow him to shoot last in the fleet, but as a level 7 pilot, before most opponents. This gives him a high chance of killing a foe before they can damage him at all!

I only foresee Bigg's shot being useful if you do target fire down 1 ship with all of your three. Otherwise, its probably not going to be enough.

And I think you might have trouble with something like a swarm, because after they take out Biggs, itll be 2 ships to maybe 5.

This is what you ought to be doing with any fleet, really. It's called "Concentrating your Fire", and it's the most efficient way to reduce your opponents' attack dice in the least number of rounds.

A weakness of any fleet to be sure. However, if I can kill Howlrunner before they kill Biggs, I'll take those odds gladly. My remaining ships are both very survivable against the swarm, and I can still throw out 2-3 attacks in a single round.

Personally I think this squads biggest weakness would actually be Firesprays and high PS interceptors.
