I was lucky enough to pick up a Phantom at Imdaar Alpha.

Awesome paint job fella
That looks even better than the Interceptor.
Tutorial, please! AWESOME
Very nice. I can't believe you managed to do that detail work in what can't have been more than a few hours.
I wish I had talent.
Wow. Awesome paint job - and fast! Did you break out the paints right there at the tournament?
Sweet.
Sweet sweet sweet sweeeeet.
Sweet.
Oh, and want.
You're going to start buying up a bunch of Interceptors and Phantoms and painting them and selling them, right?
RIGHT?!
Great... This is the ship that was really waiting for that paint job:)
Would you mind posting a tutorial? I can paint a bit, but not entirely sure I understand what makes that paint job tick.
this has to be one of the best looking and well executed repaints I have ever seen here. I would love to see this and the Interceptor on a black background/star field just for added effect!
Great idea, well executed.
Man that's freekin cool! I sure wish I could paint.
very nice! =)
I can't wait to do this to mine.
I must admit I'm tempted to have the cloaking field across the front rather than the back, though.

I guess it depends on whether or not you want the ship to say "ooo I'm going into cloak!" or "ooo I'm coming out of cloak! See my guns!?"
Yes, what colors did you use to create the effects. Great job.

Unless I cloak one entire model to use when cloaked and a plain model when attacking.
It's simple!
Just paint one fully cloaked, leave one normal, paint one with the front cloaked, one with the back cloaked and then send them to me

Me too!!
It makes more sense for it to start from the back and radiate forward. Seriously looks amazing though!
Not if the cloak is a force field and the phantom is moving through it as it dissipates... Don't change a thing, bro
.
Such a killer paintjob!
Grats on the win, too! Totally wish I could have been there.
Awesome repaint! Btw, what paints did you use?
I just won a Phantom and there is a distinct possibility that I might copy your idea. Hope you don't mind.
