Blue + FCS

Blue moves, and Focuses. Dutch moves, and Focuses. Garven moves and Focuses. Airen moves and grants an action to Dutch, who TLs, and then grants Airen a TL. Airen fires and grants a TL to Garven. Garven fires, and passes his Focus to Dutch. Dutch fires, spends his TL and hopefully rolls to get another TL and grants one to the Blue as well. And of course on the Blue fires, it keeps a semi-perma lock on someone.

Something should die

The biggest thing with lists like this however is once you lose a ship, the chain is broken

You are quite correct. I had R5K6 on there but took him off to switch some things around and didn't leave room.

As for breaking the chain - no one ship is central to the chain. Garven and Airen alone can pass around some goodies. Or Airen and Dutch, etc.

Garven moves and Focuses. Dutch moves and TLs. Grants a TL to whomever will be in the best position. Jake moves and Focuses (Boost or BR as fit). Airen moves, and grants an action to Dutch who TLs again, and grants a TL to someone else (like Jake or Garven).

Airen shoots(WithTL), and grants an action to Jake/Dutch - if Dutch, someone else(Jake?) gets a TL as well. Jake shoots(With Focus and TL). Garven shoots(With Focus and TL) and gives a Focus to Dutch if needed for an attack, if Jake if I want him to get out of the way. Dutch finishes up and hopefully Ions(with Focus and TL).

Eeyup.

I will point out that Dutch's granting of a Target Lock to a friendly ship does NOT count as an action to them.

Nor does the Fire-Control System/R5-D8 re-acquire.

So, assuming all that, I can still get:

A move and action(TL) from Dutch, to grant a TL "action" to someone else.

Garven gets a move and an action(F).

Jake takes a move and an action (F if needing to get into position) and gets a free Action (Boost or BR).

Airen goes, and grants an action (TL) to Garven.

Airen shoots and grants an action to Jake (TL - or F if not taken before).

Jake shoots.

Garven shoots and gives the Focus to Dutch...or Jake/Airen if needed.

Dutch shoots.

So in the most strict sense, I'm getting 8 actions a turn, and the only ship firing unaided is Airen.

In the most strict sense , that's six seven actions. Garven and Dutch grant something which is not an action at all. You can get the same effect from an action. In a very loose sense, it's eight actions. In a strict sense, six seven.

The term "action" has a very specific meaning in this game. Don't confuse it with something that is merely similar.

Cracken: Activation phase: perform SL action, buddy performs free action. Combat phase: buddy performs free action. (total: three actions)

Garven: one action

Dutch: one action

Jake: two actions

Total: Seven actions in the most strict sense .
