Just a quick one as its already come up. The ship can have a max of 5 power in its pool to use and be allocated. The situation that arised was my opponent allocated the power to her secondary weapons but in the end didn't shoot them also the Quad Lasers also you allocate 2 but only expend one. If they do not spend the power does this go back into the pool or remain allocated so in theory can go over the 5 limit? (5 and 2 on each sub weapon) or they just trying to be sneaky and max is 5 including whats already assigned!

Whatever you allocate stays until it gets used.

If you have 2 energy on quad laser and only use it once. It will have one energy at the start of next round.

Let's say you do a 2 straight. Gain 3 energy. You allocate that to your guns.

Next round you do the same. Now all your weapons are charged.

Next round you do the same, now you have fully charged weapons, with 3 energy in your reserve ( in your ship card)
