I am new to edge of the empire and I was wondering if anyone was looking for another player for an online game. I am moving states in a few months and I don't want to start a game then leave the group. I have been the GM for a few beginner games with my friends to try out the system, so I know how to play. I would just need a little help building a character, but beyond that I feel I can hold my own.

I'd suggest trying out www.roll20.net. There's a whole community of players who play virtual tabletop through Roll20's interface and/or Skype. You can search for Star Wars campaigns and then pick out ones doing Edge of the Empire.
