I received my Tantive IV last week and notice that on the range ruler the 1-3 portion was noticeably shorter than the ones in the core set.
About 2mm shorter in all. You can see it at each range.
Has anyone else noticed this?

no but good find if that is the case, maybe they did it on purpose?
A couple of mm is within the tolerance for the die cutting of components. Another reason I treat the super-accuracy demanding players with little regard. My range 5 seems to be off a bit as well, especially once assembled, seems the holes aren't quite in the same place on both sections if you know what I mean. Fly casual, eh?
TLDR; the die cutting of parts doesn't always match the printing, expect some variation from set to set.
Edited by winterdyneMine is correct. Look at the lines on the ruler not where they connect together.
The two pieces of the range 5 ruler are not 300mm long. When assembled they are 500mm long.
Why would you expect them to be exactly 300mm long unless they are marked that way?
This thread is worthless without pictures
It was commented on before in one of the great big threads that the 2 halves of the big ruler were not, themselves, a full 1-3 bands long.
It should be that, after connecting them, the overall length of each range band is correct, just that the range 3 one is spread over both pieces.
Sorry for the 'worthless thread'.
I will recheck tonight when I get home.
