My favorite is 11. I don't know why, as I don't really like fast AO's, but 11 seems the coolest to me. The second favorite is 13, as slow AO's are always fun, and lastly 12. Just don't like how the numbers are set.
What about you?

Why is this debate so dry? I find it quite intruiging myself might I say.
13!
I like roaming around the Arkham having zany adventures and slaying monsters. Anything less and the AO tends to wake up too quickly for my tastes.
I think the idea is running a bit dry when the last few posts in the "Debate" series have been about tokens, artwork, doomtracks and perhapes in the future the terror track, outskirts/Arkham monster limit. I tease slightly, but its one thing to debate various weapons and investigators and another to debate the doom track itself.
maybe azure flame/shotgun, inner beast/3rd eye, Red Sign/Shrivelling would be topics that would spark some more interest.

not much debate here. shotgun/3rd eye/shriveling are clearly better than the rest.
I beg to differ on almost all of your points there.
Your first few "great debates" were good. Shotgun v Tommy Gun, various combat spells against others, those were good. But when we are discussing tokens, artwork, and doom track length, how long will it be until we start talking about which investigator's hat we like more or which has the more prominent nose? When I come to the forums I hope to see topics that provide news, new ways to play the game, or lively discussion to different aspects of the game. I don't want these "great debates" about things that aren't really debatable or worth debating because when it comes down to what the best artwork is, thats a matter of personal opinion, there is no proof that one can really bring to a debate such as that.
I don't think I am alone when I said that, I just think no one has so overtly come out and say it. If you must make great debates, make them about topics that are worth debating and can be debated.

AMEN !! ... and I visit the forum to help new players get clarifications to different rules.
Also my favorite doom-track number is 159258 because then I will have enough time to seal six gates..
