Han Never Dies

Soliciting feedback on a build starter I'm toying with:

Han Solo (46)

Determination (1)

Shield Upgrade (4)

Millennium Falcon (1)

C3-PO (3)

Chewbacca (4)

Total: 59

I would only use this build in an Epic match. What do you think?

Sounds like a conflation of Star Wars and James Bond. I suddenly feel... inspired.

On the Emperor's Secret Service

Adegan Crystal's are Forever

Live and Let Become One with the Force

The Man with the Golden Lightsaber

The Sith who Loved Me

Moon-of-Endorraker

For your Mind's Eye Only

No shield and engine instead.

No determination and expert handling instead

I like the idea of it. I was doing something similar, but with Chewie piloting instead. I would say the shield upgrade is a bit much, and probably better served as a different mod, or points for someone else.

I actually like Determination, personally. It works with the super tanky thing quite well.

I went up against a similar build that also had a beefed up biggs in a 100 pt match. It was surprisingly successful.

For a Tanky-Han build, I can't help but wonder if one of the other 2 defensive crewmen wouldn't benefit you more than Chewbacca.

I thought about the same build myself. Only difference was that I took Hull upgrade instead of Shield so I could fit 2 Rookie to go with him.

Why not push the limit? Paired with the Falcon title you get an evade and focus for nice defense.

I like EU and EH on large based ships, but both take an action, and if your goal is to keep your YT alive you need to take evade for your action almost every turn. Remember the goal for this build was to keep it alive.

That being said, I would lose determination (unless you have a extra point somewhere) and C3PO.

I also feel like pointing out that as long as you don't try to do anything fancy, killing a YT-1300 isn't that hard.

How about dropping those and adding R2-D2 Crew? Chewie gives you 2 extra HP, and R2 can give you a few more, with a risk.

C-3P0 and Flight Instructor give you extra HP by increasing the Dodges across the turns of fire. Both are likely to produce more than 2 evade results over the course of your ship's life.

My list similar in design to this was tittled "Han Dies Last."

WonderWAAAGH, you, Sir, are a hero. Hats off to you.

I want to fly something similar in a standard game which is

Han

-Determination

-C-3P0

-Falcon Title

-Luke

Always take an evade action because target lock is (mostly) covered by Han and focus is (mostly) covered by Luke.
