Is the Golem's attack in RtL a Magic attack (rolls the white die) or a Melee attack (red melee trait symbol next to attack dice list) that uses the white die in it's attack roll?

It's a melee attack that rolls a white die.

Or a typo.

No typo. It was confirmed to be printed as intended.

For the amount of confusion this causes, I dont think it was worth it :-)

Especially considering that it lowers the utility of the golem furthermore. A dozen threads have been spun about how to improve the golem.
