Are corvette and transport cards legal for imdaar?

By Jaden Ckast, in X-Wing

Anyone know if the xwing pilots from the transport and upgrade cards from the corvette and transport legal for the imdaar event? And if so where it says that.

unless the contents of those ships have been specifically placed on the banned list I'm inclined to say that its fine, in fact I would imagine that FFG want them to be legal for that event to "Encourage" people to buy those products....

I'm all for using them because I'm actually using some of them but I thought I read somewhere that sometimes they arnt legal right after a release since not everyone may have access to buying them just yet or something so it would give the players that do an advantage possibly.

I've contacted FFG about this in regards to the Regionals and they are allowed as soon as they are released. It's silly and stupid but that is FFG's ruling on the matter.

Ok cool that's good to know then. Thanks for that been wondering

Also I wanted to ask anyone who has the Tantive, other than R2-D2, C3-PO, Han an Leia upgrade cards are there any other upgrade cards in the set that are legal for 100 standard play?

I have very little interest in Epic play but certianly feel that those 4 cards (and any more I have missed) are very good (and certianly relevant for competitive play) and I disike the thought of having to pay the value of 6 small expansions for just those 4 cards.

Also unlike the Transport where people have bought multiples and are willing to sell/trade duplicates of unique pilots and upgrades I expect very, very few people to buy multiple Tantives, particularly as you can only play 1 in epic play (whereas you can play up to 2 transports)

No, those are the only 4 cards legal in 100 point play. Technically, there's a 5th you could put on (Targeting Coordinator), but since he has an Energy Ability, he's 4 points you can't actually use.

Of the four cards, R2D2 is interesting but of questionable value on the existing standard ships. Leia is much the same (but is awesome in an Epic game). Han can be awesome on a Falcon. C3P0 is also excellent fun.

In a non-tournament, I would recommend proxying and in a tournament borrowing. Neither are truly game winning or necessary cards, but can add something to certain lists.
