Green Bay Regional Event - May 16th and 17th

By Boot2daHead2, in UFS Fan Announcements

Green Bay would like to invite all combatants to bring their skills to the table to the first regional event in Wisconsin on May 16th and 17th. The event will be held at Gnome Games located at 2160 S. Ridge Rd, Green Bay WI, 54304. Come and test your skills with other players from around the area and see who is the last Man (or Woman) standing.

The Events for the Weekend will be a Standard Singles event on the 16th entry fee of $15 and a Team Standard event on the 17th with an enry fee of $30/ team.

I am hoping that we will be able to give away a box of product to the winner of the events but I have been having a hard time getting in contact with the owner of the store in the past few weeks, so keep an eye on the forums for more details.

Til next time.

What time do the events start?

Registration for the events will bgin at Noon and we will start at 1 Pm.

Also, we will be giving a box of one of the new sets to the winner of the Singles event along with playmats and other prizes to random players throughout the event. Also the entry fee for the Teams event has been changed to $25 per team.

If anyone has any questions contact me at ufs@gnomegames.com or check Facebook for gnome games and look at the Regional event

Me and some of the guys in our play group are planning on attending. I still need to talk to Seng if he's interested. If so then we'll probably have one left over member that will be teamless also. I don't know what TripsEx has in mind but you can talk to him about it too.

But everything is coming all so soon and things are kinda like all out of order so we're still trying to get things in order and see what's going to happen with everyone too. Our play group will probably talk more about it and if you guys are still looking for a member then post more after this weekend.

I am going... I have to represent Green Bay!!

I want to see this place packed! Come on Wisconsin lets play some mad UFS.

I'll be the only one from Misty going unfortunately, the rest of my playgroup either doesn't travel for events or has to work (and 2 are busy with a different event this weekend). I've been short on testing my deck lately though, so it should be interesting >_>

You are not the only one :'(

Coming out of retirement 10 days before an event is not a great idea lol.

Three days left till Green Bay Regionals! Better be ready to bring the pain!

Well, time is getting closer and closer. So far as how things look here it seems not to be so hyped up. Sad really. I do hope for a good turn out. But then again, I don't even know if I can make it yet. But still...

Well, hope to make the singles event. I don't know who to play. Suggestions?

I'm sure me and a few can make teams though. Hope things go well until then...

The team event has 3 players per team. Unless it is some sort of alternate team format.

yes yes.....good question, please find out to be sure.

There is absolutly no way a 2 member team event would work. So I assume that he just thought a team event was 2 players per team not 3.

Ok, after league last night I found out from Jeff what is up with the teams...Gnome Games is giving away a BOX TO EACH TEAM MEMBER. That is THREE boxes to the first place team!

GO GO TEAM SLAP CHOP!

sounds better. though a team of 2 ppl only would be interesting.
