I usually runs a Red Daggers list when it comes to playing in tournaments, but this time I am thinking aboutthis list, which I like to call my Mamma Mia list.
2x Dagger Squadron with Advanced Sensors
2x Green Squadron with Opportunist.

It looks fun to me, but what do you say?
I've thought about that squad, but not tried it yet. Before Rebel Transport I had some success with Biggs, 2x Dagger with FCS, Green with Opportunist. At that time I only had 1 A-Wing.
The one thing I wonder using 2 greens is how much you may limit using Opportunist. If your two Daggers don't get the tokens off, then your first A is unlikely to do so for the second A. Now that I have two A wings I'll try it out ... if I can get my daughter to stop using them.
Another one I want to try is Dagger with AS X2, Tarn, Green with Opportunist.
You could drop the Sensors off one B and switch the other out for Wes if you really want the best bang for your buck with Opp.

It should be viable once Rebel Aces comes out and you have 4 more points to spend from taking refits.
An interesting variant post aces could be:
Kenyan Farlander + Advanced Sensors + Push the Limit
Blue Squadron Pilot + Advanced Sensors
2x Green Squadron Pilot + refit + Push the Limit

Opportunist is one of my favorite upgrades in the game. I've been playing with the card as soon as it was spoiled. I even made top 4 at regionals with a squad centered around the upgrade. I used Wes to open up the enemy for the opportunist shots in my 3 X-Wing build. The power of 4 attack dice can't be over stated here. Rolling more dice the defense dice equals damage, and a lot of it. Most people seem to get hung up on the idea of they must shoot with the upgrade every signel shot, you don't! It's best to think of the upgrade as a missile that cost 4 that can fire with out a target lock at range 1, 2 and 3. If you use the upgrade once you got 4 points of value out of it. Like a concussion missile you get 4 dice, the missile changes one blank to a hit, opportunist still allows you to save that focus netting the same damage output. If you get to fire that Opportunist shot a second time your in the bonus area of value. Here a cluster missile attacks twice in a single round with 3 dice. By getting that second use out of opportunist you just plan out perform the damage output of the cluster missile. Unlike the missiles Opportunist has to deal with that extra defense dice at range 3 but goes to a very scary place at range one. I do understand the desire to pump up the attack of the 2 attack ships to 3 and how useful it is. The push on ships that have a 3 attack to 4 dice is where you'll get the most value out of the upgrade. I can't stress ( pun intended) this enough, you don't win at X-Wing by rolling green dice, you win by rolling Red dice!"
I like the idea of ABBA, you will need to practice your maneuvering. Making sure you focus your shots allowing the Daggers a chance to open them up for the A's.

Scrap PTL on the Green Squadron pilots. Here's why:
Predator. This card allows you to reroll one attack die every time you attack. No action, no stress, no hassle. You can reroll 2 if you are attacking a ship with PS2 or lower. Awesome. You have 2 attack dice. So, when attacking, the chance of two blanks is rather low at range 2-3. Since Predator doesn't take an action, you can still take a focus. You are almost ensured to get two hits with predator and focus. That's awesome. It's like having target lock and focus from PTL without the stress.
Further, Predator doesn't require an action. Think about what this means. If you get blocked, it still works. If you take the 'No actions for you' crit, it still works. Kagi around to force you to target lock him if able? Still works. It's like having your own personal Howlrunner, or two, for every ship with Predator.
Even at range 1, 1-2 rerolls + focus is a seriously good replica of TL + Focus, all without stress. For the A-Wing and other 2 attack dice ships, unless you are trying to go hyper mobile, Predator should replace PTL in most situations.

Or you could trade in a single GSP for a 28 point ship to peel off tokens for Opportune fascilitation.
Pity it's not 29, or you could get Wes Jenson, who is godlike at setting up for Opportunists.
