Came up tonight in an epic battle! Awesome! If it could be healed back I would assume the teams and personnel that was was lost would stay dead but maybe the hardware would be fixed ie: quad lasers etc...?

WED-15 can remove damage cards from a crippled section. However, nothing in the huge ship rules suggest that you can flip over the card of a crippled section. A crippled section remains crippled.

One point to note is that if you have the Tantive named card, you do not lose it's upgrades when the fore is crippled. You could take it and not use the upgrades slots it provides, then when the fore is crippled you use the slots to keep your upgrades.

The rules don't specify a mechanic for "un-crippling" a ship by flipping the card back over, so it remains crippled even if an effect allows you to remove damage cards from it.

You'll notice the crippled side has no hull value, so whether you remove damage cards or not, the number of damage cards is not less than the hull value... so no, resurrection is not possible.
