Turr Phennir and Lieutenant Tokyo Drift carry the day

So we had a practice tourney today, playing under tournament rules to test our squads and I went 3 and 0 with this force:

Turr and Tokyo drift manged to outmanuver the opposition at every turn. I even faired well against 2 different Falcon based squadrons, what I had expected to be the the biggest threat to this build as they neutralize the chief advantage of Turr and Tokyo Drift.

How much use did you get out of gunner with hlc?

Not much, it helped a couple times when I was firing at range one or out of the rear arc, but I don't think I had one time where I had a gunner shot follow an HLC shot. This is the one thing I've been considering changing.

That would be a good idea, you could give both Squints a hull upgrade to survive getting one shot a little better. Could even drop the HLC to save some more points

Yeah, but if you drop the HLC, you don't have anything to use Krassis' ability on. I can't math the points right now, but possibly drop the gunner and HLC and upgrade Krassis to Kath with Rebel captive?

Not recommending that, I'm a big fan of Krassis + HLC + Recon Specialist.

One thing you need to keep in mind is that having initiative is a huge boon to my side as it allows Turr to use his abilty on an equal skill pilot and escape before he can return fire. So using a full hundred points actually can work against me.
