This last weekend saw 18 players gather in Santa Clara for the West Coast Regional event. I'm very proud to have been co-T.O. for this event, as everyone who participated gave tremendous feedback about their experience at this one! I will post my tournament report later tonight or tomorrow morning. But for now, here's the deck i built and piloted to a 6th place finish: Wild Wolf Terry Bogard!

So, this Terry is really built for the long game, with plenty of ways to gain back Life, and with enough Control to truly be hard to kill. On 2 separate occasions during the matches, my opponent Scooped the decisive 2nd Round to me after going All Out for kill, coming up short, only to watch me Reverse with Sakura's Shinku and gaining +20 health and going back to full.
I can only imagine what that does to a player's psyche, and i'm glad that trick belonged only to me this day.
Ryu's Shin Shoryuken is the closest thing in our current Standard format to Busta Wolf, so it's in their for kill, but mostly for flavor! And, no i was never punk-ish enough to ask any of my opponent's "ARE YOU OKAY?!..." Lol.
A couple things i would change about this deck...Powerful Style was useless in this deck, except for awesome Spam fodder. However, i would probably replace these with the 3 copies of Tag Along i had in my SideBoard. Also i would have found room for these 2 cards: Destiny for the numerous CC Hax i ran into (I'm looking at you Marcus, with your Olexa deck!); and Trapped In a Nightmare. Many of my matches ran longer than i intended thanks to numerous Damage Redux and other R-type foundations, and it would've been much easer had I had the ability to completely nullify them. T.I.a.N. would've been GOLD! in this format.
So...anyway...yea, this was the deck i've been wanting to run at a 'major' tourney for awhile. I'm very pleased with how well it ran, and now that i have...i'm ready to run something more Aggro and built for Speed. Maybe a kamakazi Aggro deck, T2 or T3 killer or be damned!
Comments, praises, and critiques...all are welcome!
