Well I got my hands on the new Tantive today. Spent the day working on getting everything to fit the tray size. This is the results, and to be honest I am really happy with the outcome.

Using 2 layers I was able to real utilise all the foam. Able to get 3 ships, bases and dials into the lower tray means, I can get 6 ships and the Tantive into 75mm of foam

This was really kool to try to work out. Rebel Transport and the Tantive in one tray. Got there in the end.

The X-wing products look really nice. It's the best I've seen so far. I would probably buy for my entire collection if it wasn't for shipping cost to Europe.

I notice that while putting together an order for a Medium bag, it isn't possible to get below 285mm of foam (order requires 280mm) when the Tantive-Transport layer is included

I guess I can just order it and not use the 6th tray?

Necessity truly is the mother of invention. Looks like a solid way to protect my huge ship investments, so I sprung for the Transport/Tantive tray.

LaserTouch: Hopefully for the future the Z-95s will fit the XY slots and the E Wing will fit the BH slot. But I guess the TIE Defender and Phantom may require some alterations. Once these new ships become available will you consider a redesign of these "universal" slots or would you think it easier to just create new custom slots for these?

Also would it be possible to have a 2 Transport foam?

I also like the idea of the Falcon tray with the XY or BH cut-out inside. Could you do something similar with the Slave 1 cut-out?

I'd like to order, but a few things are stopping me at this moment..

I'm assuming that we're going to see huge imperial ships - (since we've got parity on everything else so far) - so i'd like to wait for those before ordering a set of trays - otherwise this looks great...

Secondly, trying to fit the transport and tantive into the medium bag doesn't let me get to 280mm in any way - maybe there needs to be an option to select "no layer" ? I dont know...

It'd be perfect if i could get the tantive and transport layer - and some kind of case that fits the size of the layers!

The tray size is 380mm x 190mm by the depth

Ten thousand?! We could almost get our own ship for that! Pricy stuff, which means I'm sure excellent quality.

If they announce these at GenCon like they did with the rebel ships, then wouldn't you be waiting for May next year? Doesn't it make sense to order a second bag then?

I'm guessing it'll be tough to fit all your ships in one bag.

A bit - but i'd primarily like to just have the huge ships in a bag, since I have a case system for all my fighters at the moment

I love the look of the transport and corvette in one tray. My main concern is how much would the shipping be to Texas? I guess I could check on the website for shipping info, I just have issues sometimes with many internet on my phone.

It looks like all U.S. shipping is $14.

You can use our online software to create any combo you wish. See the bottom, I have some more info about the online software.

Hi, I would definitely buy some some foam you guys if you made trays to fit other cases. KR Size for instance.

I don't like soft bags and much prefer the solid metal KR cases, but their foam layouts are really stupid, and they are slow on the uptake for new releases.

You can create any size foam try you want with our online software.

I have added all our new shapes to our online software.

If you want the size trays that we are selling you need to select Laser Touch X-Wing Small (380x190) from the Foam Size drop down menu, shown below.

Under Predefined shapes you can navigate to X-Wing / New Shapes. Click to add to the canvas.
