I was looking for something new to make and i started thinking about the Stealth X. I know it is EU etc and see,s like a bit of a daft idea but as a possible foil for the Phantom it could be useful. Any opinions?

Did they have cloaking devices?

Not full on cloaks from what i can tell. But anti sensor and visual jamming rendering them as good as invisible to the naked eye and scanners until they fire

X-Wing + Stealth Device?

As a repaint, sure. But as a new ship with new stats, god no. Those things were stupid in the novels.

I think it would be cool... I plan on trying to modify one of my Xs for this... but i heard the stealth X was smaller than a normal X wing??

As a repaint perhaps but I kind of figure that is what adding a Stealth Device does. Anything more and you should be making it into an X-Wing title and probably one that actually has a cost.

It was a little smaller based on the X wing that followed the E Wing (kind of makes one wonder why they bothered with the E Wing at all) but with the third (really, 3 tubes on a fighter?) Proton torpedo launcher replaced by some sort of sensor suite. Im not fully up on the details myself but i was chatting with someone and they mentioned it which got me thinking.
