I have a question for owners of Shadow of Nerekhall. My boyfriend is getting it for my birthday next Friday, and we were going to play it with a few others who don't normally play Descent. Anyways, what are the first few lieutenants that appear in the quests? I already have Tristayne and Mirklace, but do Rylan or Verminous appear in the first 3 or 4 quests? I'd want to get the LT Packs before then if the case.

Rylan and Verminous do appear in act 1. Rylan appears in many quests in act 1, Verminous you can avoid if you don't pick the quests with him.

Tristayne appears in the introduction.
Mirklace and Rylan appear in interlude 1, Tristayne and Rylan appear in interlude 2.

Mirklace, Rylan, Tristayne and Verminous appear in Finale 1, Mirklace, Rylan, and Tristayne appear in finale 2.

For the act 1 and act 2 quests it will depend on which quests you choose but Tristayne is probably the most common one followed by Rylan.

Unless I missed something in my count just now, Tristayne and Rylan appear equally as often in the quests; Rlyan appears in 3 Act I quests to Tristayne's 1, but Tristayne appears in two Act II quests (although only one of those two will ever happen in any given campaign).
