My Rebel fleet mostly all painted up! Let me know what ya think!

Disclaimer* All ships except for the CR90 (actually used a brush) were painted with paint pens. This is my first serious undertaking with painting stuff, I do not claim to be an artist or even good for that matter. Just wanted to personalize my stuff in some of my favortie colors blue, silver, gray, and white.

I very nerdishly call my fleet Ghost Squadron being led by the flagship CR90 "Sabre"

The Sabre, once I find suitable stencils I plan on putting the name on the ship. Also thinking about adding some more blue.

lmao!! The A-wings were the first ships I painted and I wanted to do something different than the triangle but nothing crazy difficult. Lol never even noticed the scottish flag there until now! Next time I use em I'll speak in a scottish accent!

How is the durability of the paint job with paint pens? Did you need to add a finishing layer or does the paint dry and stick well to the models?

What are these paint pens you speak of? And what ones did you use for the engine glows?

The brands I used were decocolor, craft smart, and sharpie. They are easy to find in craft shops such as Michaels and even walmart sometimes have them. Make sure you get the extra fine tip though, it's the perfect size for these minis. As far as engine glow it was decocolor red, yellow, and sky blue or light blue.

Look really great, in my opinion, i would left the CR-90 as its, look nice with just those lines.

This has me wanting to custom paint my own personal X-wing... But I don't own any of the colors ld need but black and am terrified of messing it up... Even moreso, I'd love to make my own Personal Firespray, but that's too much painting. Maybe this summer some time...

Once you take the plunge it's awesome. The great thing about rebellion ships is they don't have to be painted well and the fluff supports it lol. If the lines aren't great or some spots are missed you just chalk it up to a rag tag group of freedom fighters painting a ship, if they were pro's they'd be working for incom lol.

Yeah I'm gonna wash the blue on tbe a-wing to darken in a bit.
