BXYY list need advice

I wanted to tru Wes` ability and the whole R3 A2. On the Y wing trick. How doez it look?

I am considering removing the ICT on the Y with R3 to free some more points. Good or bad idea?

Why is Wes in there. I feel since you ate not trying to capitalize on his ability, points can be better spent elsewhere plus a lack of Biggs means that blue will die quick.

Agreed. You have to have your opponent in arc to benefit from R3A2. That can be difficult with a Y-Wing. It's much better on Hobbie, who can clear his own stress immediately. Pair him up with a Y-Wing with Ion Turret and you've got a nasty little combo.

How does one capitalize on Wes` ability?

Having someone with oppertunist.

The Hobbie/Gold combo is a solid one, but I'm not too exited of how you spent your other 50pts. At the very least I'd leave R2D2 and the Proto at home and get a Rookie

i'd drop the Y's, give Wes the R3-A2 and Outmaneuver and Engine Upgrade.

And then two Daggers with Ion and Sensor Jammers.

Different list entirely but the R3 just doesn't feel welcome on a Y to me.

Outmaneuver is great.....but its not out yet. Any other ideas for Wes?

That's how it works. Fire a flechette torpedo and it gets really intersting.

So Hobbie with R3 and some flechettes. Do you think it could use one or twi y wings?

Hobie can start the lockdown at range 3, Biggs keeps the fun working for a little while.

Unless you happen to go up against a ship that can have 2 tokens on it, like a recon spec firespray or a ptl interceptor or something, then wedge is still mathematically more powerful than wes (and if that's the case, then you can bring the whole biggs plus points spent elsewhere into the equation). Or if you happen to go against a squad where killing their target lock saves your bacon, like bombers or something. If you're in love with wes, there needs to be an opportunist somewhere, or at the very least, you're meta needs to be absolutely riddled with the above squads.

The sqaud right above this post looks pretty good if you're not extremely attached to wes.
