How long is she? :D

Looks sharp.

This is not helping my willpower to hold off on buying one.

Give in to your hate. Strike me down with it.

I'm choosing to save my X-Wing budget from this month to allow me to buy more Wave Four vessels next month. I may however give in and pick up a single small ship next week to tide over my cravings for more ships!

I'm in a holding pattern on the Tantive ( I really want one!). Need to spend the cash on a big investment into wave 4.

Picked mine up tonight also. Nice model, just seems a bit small after have been using the Hasbro one.

It's so... biiiig.

It is super pretty. I want to use mine in a game so bad I might play myself on the living room floor...

I can see how easily it can break.

The thing is huge.

One rip in the plastic and I'd Imagine it would just split.

I'm still trying to figure how to get around with the range ruler

And some people want scale Star Destroyers . . .

Anyway, I got my CR90! :D I'm anxious to use it in battle against those Imperial oppressors!

The Tantive looks so good that I would LOVE a scale Star Destroyer to go with it. Who cares if it would take up a good portion of my living room. I could turn it into a couch for when I'm not using it for gaming.

How about a Stardestroyer the size of a caravan! You could live in it when not playing!

So I got my corvette the other day and have so far played two games with it.

The first used a very tank build with the WED droid. So for the Rebels I had the corvette loaded out as such Fore: WED droid, Quad Gun, Tibanna gas Aft: Back up shield generator, Quad Gun, and Engineering team. Ibtisam: Elusiveness and Sensor Jammer with two Red Squadron pilots acting as support. The Imperials consisted of Fel: PTL, Stealth. Thur: Veteran Instincts, Stealth. 5 Ties and Mark Steele and 2 Bombers.

Early on in the game the corvette was heavily damaged so that for the majority of the game both portions of the ship had six damage cards on them but in the end having those quad guns ended up winning the game as the ties tried to score range 1 shots.

Then in the second game I used the load out from the campaign where the imperials used mithal, Dark curse, 4 Black Squadron pilots, and 2 Tie Bombers.

In the second game one swerve quickly knocked out two fighters and in the end the ship remained fairly undamaged. However, I have to say against Imperial ships I don't know how overly good the Turbolasers are they seem to costly to use effectively.

I gave in. Found it for $64AUD on Book Depository when they are $120AUD locally. Since I don't know how long they will be at 33% off I decided to buy one now for that rather crazy price.

I'm going to pick mine up shortly. I got a call yesterday saying it arrived at my flgs, but i was sleepingon account of working nights. I'm thinking about getting a tie bomber with it as I'm going to use a 10% discount on the beast.

I asked my wife to pick up my pre-order yesterday. I help run the weekly league, so I have a store account. I asked her to put it on my account but she bought it for me. BEST WIFE EVER.

How long is she? :D

13 inches long. I have some pictures I'll post in a bit that I took this morning.

Mine is scheduled to arrive today. The UPS lady usually comes around 3-4 in the afternoon.

It's a damned shame that I'm leaving town for the long weekend at about noon... :(

One thing that surprised me, was the number of new tokens that came with the CR-90 and GT-75... Most of them are for the missions that come with the game, but there are a lot of them.

So how is everyone storing this beast.

For now I'm just keeping it in the box.

The range ruler is huge. I thought it would have fit in the box, didn't think it was going to snap together.

Do others take it apart? Or did you just snap in one piece and swivel it around for storage?

I'll have to check my garage and see if I have a suitcase or something.

For now I'm keeping the corvette in the box, along with all the mission tokens /base /pegs (for both the vette, and transport)

Can't fit it in the travel bag I have now with everything so maybe a small carry on bag or small suitcase.

Man it'll be sick trying to get around once they come out with imp huge ships.

I'll need a uhaul soon

So how thick is the foam. I see the Corvette sticks out some.

Picked mine up during lunch - will do an unboxing video and review tonight. I can already tell I'm going to want to do a little painting on this thing.

So I got mine today, and I went to Wal-Mart tonight looking for something to store it in. I found a Plano tray that was long enough and deep enough, but I'd have to cut out one of the dividers molded inside. Call that plan B.

Didn't find anything in crafts or housewares either, and my daughter was getting bored so she goes off to look at shoes (go figure). When I went to collect her, I noticed a stack of shoe boxes on clearance. They were smaller than normal shoe boxes, and something seemed to click.

I had the CR90 with me, so I opened one box and held the model up to it. Perfect fit. About a quarter inch longer than the model, plenty deep and just wide enough for the engine section. A little spare foam in the end to support the forward end and voila! Works perfect. And since the shoes were on clearance, I got my wife a pair of shoes (brownie points) and a box for my ship for five bucks. The brand is Faded Glory if anyone else wants to try looking at their FLWM.
