So what to get next? I will have enough soon to get one maybe two more ships. I really like the Defender, Phantom and E-Wing, are these out yet? I have seen pictures and programs with them in it. Oh here is what I am currently working with.

I am not really looking for the larger ships, yet. I would rather get maybe 2 ships instead of just 1. I like every ship that is currently available so I am unsure what to get. I was thinking a Tie Bomber, B-Wing or Y-Wing.

Unemployment sucks btdubs. If I don't get a job soon I may need to sell body parts to fill my X-wing addiction. Thanks to some side work from a friend I will be able to sneak a couple of ships.

Do you want to collect both sides for some reason? I and a lot of others collect both sides, but we also provide ships for other people, or just like collecting them.

So my fist bit of advice is to consider picking one side or the other.

Of the ships you list, I'd say either the Y and B, if you want to go with just rebels. But if you're going to collect both a bomber and B would really add a lot of options of your lists.

I want to have both sides (all ships really). I also am currently only playing against friends and family so I need both sides so we have something to play. I haven't even thought about tournies and picking one side or another since I am still learning the rules and how to play.

That's cool A lot of us do the same thing. Myself I own 4 of almost every ship in the game, other then the Large ones... and the Tie Advanced.

Which actually might be an option for you. The Tie Advanced with Vader is a pretty good ship, but most people, including me will tell you one is enough, because without Vader it's not very good.

I love Y-Wings, but if I had to chose between a B and Y, I'd pick the B, it will give you more options.

Edit: One other thing. It's a bit spendy, but you can get Core Sets online pretty cheep, and you just can't get a better value. 2 more Ties and a X-Wing for $30 is hard to beat. Plus more dice, extra templates and a 2nd damage deck.

Yeah I thought about getting another Core Set. I think I will wait though on that. I just want all the ships badly. 4 of every ship, wow nice. I know I will get crazy like that eventually.

I dare say one Tie Advanced is mandatory, the second the last thing you'll ever want. Vader is that good.

Why did I think Vader was in an Interceptor? Oh well a sort of miss buy.

My suggestion is to pick up the ships in the order they were released. Y-Wing and TIE Advanced would be next for you, then you can start in on the Wave 2 ships. I think this is a good way to get introduced to new game mechanics and strategies.

But really, you can get anything and it'll be fun. Try a B-Wing and a TIE Interceptor, which I find more interesting and battle-worthy than the Y-Wing and Advanced.

The HWK-290 is on sale at Miniature Market right now for $7.50, so if you're trying to save some money, that ship would be an option.

Personally, looking at what you've got, and the fact you want to hold off on a second core, I'd say get a b wing first to build up your rebels then a second interceptor. If you want to avoid duplicates then go tie advance but I just think there's more fun to be had with 3 Ties and 2 Interceptors.

I get most of my stuff from a local retailer. I prefer to shop local. I may pay a few bucks more than online but I help try and keep a place to play in business. So for me another Core Set is not going to happen for a bit.

B-wing and Tie Bomber. Little bit of variety and fun.

I'm in a similar place. I want to support my local stores, which give us a place to play our games in. I view buying from them as a form of honor-cover charge. Likewise, I don't have a massive amount of ships but I'm trying to get from both sides.

I did get the extra starter, after I picked up an Advanced and a YT-1300. Since then, I've purchased a separate TIE/ln, a Y-Wing, and a TIE Bomber. That leaves me with 11 ships; 7 Imperial and 4 rebel.

I'm not sure what's next for me. I'm trying to evaluate what I want from the game. I think I might soon get bored with the 100-point 6-asteroid death matches. I want fictional stakes to fight over, and partner players to help me flesh out that story.

There are numerous threads that deal with custom scenarios.

Have you tried a 2 vs 2 100 point? A 4 player furball? A 6 player furball?

Yeah I am sure the deathmatch thing will get a little stale after a while. For now though it will be fun. I think there were some missions in the instruction book I will be trying out eventually as well.

I higly recomend you the Firespray, Imperial Aces, and more TIE Interceptors, with the high agility of this ship, I could get very low probability victories, with high disadvantage of number, and could return in the last momento, so I really really recomend this ship, greettings.

Thing is I am leaning towards getting both sides up and running. So getting a Firespray leans my current collection towards Imperial. Where getting one ship each for both sides keeps my collection more even. I am not looking to get the Firespray or YT-1300 for some time yet. First I need to get a job to have enough to get them. I am only able to get the shipps I am looking for now because of some side work a friend threw me.
