Yes, if you are looking at it strictly as a purchase. I obviously don't think a Lightsaber should be viewed like that. I would either just give one to a player, or make it a first session thing. I never just gave my guys a ship, they obtained it through play, first session. Just how I roll, to each their own.

If you use the Knight-level play option when you start your character, you get a basic lightsaber or 10,000 Cr (and 150 XP extra).

There are no rules in Lightsaber club.....

There are no specific dueling rules. There are reactionary things like Improved Parry and other Talents that allow for things on misses and stuff.

You could get a training saber with starting cash. Stun damage, no crit, and no mods, but it allows you to go wooom wooom woooom right out the gate. This is especially important for the lightsaber style specializations not being left out in the cold.

Murderous Fugitive (FR 3) and Scarred Gladiator (FR 2). There's also rules for making your own Inquisitor, including Force-using Inquisitors.
