Not if you throw in the dice The three minis are a touch cheaper ($22.47) than the core set ($26.99) but the dice are $5.99 and I haven't looked at shipping.

Still, that $7.49 is a great price if you need to pick up those two expansions to expand on a previous Core Set purchase as we so often recommend doing.

Funny, this post was next to the "death of the swarm list" post. Buy more Tie Fighters, but watch out the swarm is going away. That being said I have ordered some today.

I think the real target for this is for those who have two core sets already and need more ties for a swarm but more x-wings, templates, and dice just aren't needed

I haven't tried to see if it applies here. I think it might, as it makes sense to me to classify a single ship as a mini, but they may classify it as a game expansion or something
