Our table is oddly shaped, straight on two sides and curved on the ends, so that the biggest rectangular area I could fit is about 4' x 3'. I was thinking of getting a folding table, but I haven't been able to find one that's 6'x3' -- they're all only 30" wide.

We play 200 point dogfights in 3'x 3' and that works out ok, but with the huge ships 3' x 3' is constraining. 200 points also seems a bit low for games with the CR90 because of its high point cost.

Does anyone play epic mode in a smaller play area, and if so how do you scale the points/asteroids?

Mission 8: Rendezvous from the Rebel Transport Expansion Pack is to be played on a 4' x 3' play area and that mission is 3 GR-75s + 200 points for the rebel player and 250 points for the imperial player, so I'd say go for 200 - 250 points on that scale and ad asteroids to your liking, I'd go for about maybe eight asteroids placed in clusters (as per Epic Tournament rules).
