So this came up in a game last night

1) If Chairman hero is "trashed" can he be used as Punitive Counter-Strike trigger? I thought he can, because he is an Agenda that worth 2 Agenda Points. However, my opponent last night was claiming that you can't, because he is "trashing" him, not "stealing him".

Any Lukasz conformation on this?

2) If you ALREADY trash Chairman hero into archives, yourself, he can't be "stolen", because the runner can not "trash" cards that are already trashed?

1) No, adding a card to your score pile as an Agenda is not Stealing an Agenda.

Well that's a bummer :\

It really leaves me undecided on Chairman Hero in my Replicating Kills deck :\

On one hand having him in that deck really cuts the work down, being able to safely remove him from play during my turn.
On the other if he gets sniped from R*D like in some of my games, I can't abuse the PS ....

I guess that means he will most likely go ... Unless I play Shinobi and Restoring Face him ...hmmmmm ...

I run just 1. However I'm playing 3 pointers (3xTFP) , 2xFAI , 1x PE and 3x NAPD and a Punitive Counter-strike deck in Replicating perfection. Not being able trigger PS from him stealing 1/3rd (I'm assuming he will always get 1x 3 pointer) of the Agenda required is pretty big.

I guess ti will be nice to be able to kill him in a PS+Neural chain with Chairman Rezz when he is at 5 cards ... but honestly if he steals a 3 pointer and has 5 cards with no plascrete, I might just as well have 2nd Punitive and kill him again :I

Doesn't seem to worth the risk.

If it worked with Punitive, for my deck, it would be just like NAPD contract but for 2 more, which I"m completely alright with.
