so at what point do you consider dice rolling cheating?

Is this still really going on? I'm tired about cheating threads....let us talk about flowers of alderaan instead

Whats Alderaan? ;)

No such place. However there is an Alderaan asteroid belt.

How does it look this time of year, I've got a some vacation days coming up soon. Know anyone to book a reservation with?

It's only a roll if they roll on the table or you shake them in a dice cup then slap it down. It is very easy to place dice with some vigor rather than actually roll them.

So let me get this straight... Some of think that bubbles in these make them authentic? Really? Are you that dumb to not think about this for a moment. Bubbles mean DEFECT! Cheap crap, poor casting. Perhaps your better off with ebay dice...

This is how you choose to spend your first post?

This is how you choose to spend your three thousand six hundredth post?

Very prouda ya.

N....n....n....necro!

Well, I think it was worth it...

After a while one stops caring about post count and 'hitting milestones' are just things you go by without notice.

Signing up just to add a post to a thread that hasn't been active 8 months... that's something one needs to question.

I was just joking. I don't really care, I thought it was funny because it was exactly his 3,600th post.

All dice rolling is subject to manipulation. Sounds like the second guy was doing a "Greek Roll", which is more commonly used with 6-siders.

However, as you pointed out with the first one, if they are willing to cheat on the die results, they're not as likely to be skilled pilots.

Best possible ship to be a die-cheat with? Probably a Fat Han with 3p0 and Lando.

That may be but of course when post count just shows what you are currently at what's to say the 3600th post wasn't somewhere else?

His profile page (here) shows that his (WonderWAAAGH) most recent post is the one in this thread. And since it currently says he's at 3600, that means this was his 3600th.

:D

In Australia we had a guy exposed for using loaded dice in several 40K tournaments. The same low-life also entered commission painted models in Golden Daemon. For some people winning is everything. I pity them.

Dice rolling 101.

- Pick up dice in hand.

- Shake dice in hand.

- Release dice onto tabletop in such a way as they bounce randomly over the surface.

*If injuries to ships/spectators result, release dice with a tad less enthusiasm.

- ...

- Profit.

Are those choices mutually exclusive?
