It's possibly worth combining ships to so the job better. B-wings with ion cannons and an x-wing with the droid, say. It could be:

Blue with fcs and ion cannon x2

Rookie with r3-a2

Another rookie.

Or wait a bit and take three Daggers with Ion, AdvS and Tactician?

That's certainly an interesting set up. There's a downside in that fielding low agility ships becomes a lot less attractive if there's lots of ion in the meta, and advanced sensors are useless if stressed. The list is a hard counter to itself!

Use the HWK to potentially freeze up the movement of two ships, then let the Bs tear into the third or more.
