I was wondering what yall think of this squad
Ibtisam with autoblaster and veteran instincts(34)
Ten Numb with autoblaster (36)
Dutch Vander with R2 astromech and Ion turret

I almost read that as BBW squad.
That squad will pack a punch, but I'd be hesitant with only 3 agility. If your attack dice go cold in the beginning you'll pretty much be toast.

Don't bother with Autoblaster. It's super terrible. Your paying 5 points to roll less dice at close range and the hit average is almost exactly the same. Give Ibtisam a Heavy Laser Cannon and give Ten Numb Marksmanship.
I'm not sold to be honest. Autoblaster is basically bad. What Dutch adds to that squad you can replace with push the limit, and the Bs don't really need target locks anyway - especially not Ibtisam. Sorry.

Also this ^ but I've done well and also been beaten by 3 B-wings, a Y-Wing shouldn't be a huge change since you have the turret.
would it be better if the B's had ion cannons, and the Y had a blaster turret?
Blaster Turret is also awful because you have to spend your focus, so you don't have it for attack. Really, invest in a Heavy Laser Cannon. You won't regret it.
I dont have the time or money for it before Imdarr, so....
I would, but I cant
I would change the squad a bit. First, my favorite setup for Ibti is the following:
Ibtisam + Sensor Jammer + Elusiveness
At 34 points she becomes a tank. If you enemy doesn't have focus, they lose one hit off the top, which cannot be rerolled. Then, if they have lots of damage showing, for them to reroll a die and you get a stress. This may mean two less hits against you if they don't have focus. Then, since you have a stress, you may reroll your agility die if it's not an evade. Plus, she shoots at a respectable initiative, so you may force them to spend a focus trying to evade damage. It's super effective.
That saves you with two points. I would ditch autoblaster on Ten Numb. You have 8 points to play with now. Sensor Jammer and Marksmanship is 7, leaving you a point for initiative and a really beefy squad.
Edited by SableGryphonThen just let your B-wings be B-wings. If you have any Advanced Sensors cards, add those, with Ibtisam being the priority. Marksmanship really works well with Ten. Push the Limit is also a good choice. Any of them would appreciate a Shield Upgrade or Hull Upgrade. Don't bother with Stealth Device as you'll lose it on the first attack. Opportunist on Ibtisam would be good, too.
I like the Idea of the 2 B-wings and a Y-wing, especially with Dutch in the Y. Upgrades are the key. Your Ion Cannon strategy could work out but it's hard to pull off. Idea being you Ion the ship, they have to get close to you, 2K around them and then blast away. Wash, rinse, repeat.
I would take Advanced Sensors before the Ions though, but that may be just me. If you don't have them, Fire Control Systems are pretty good, too. B-wings are awesome, even better with the right upgrades. Autoblaster is a trap though, and Ion cannons kind of nerf the otherwise awesome damage potential of the B-wing.

Well my favourite setup for Ibby is:
Ibtisam + Advanced Sensors, Push the Limit & Engine Upgrade
What a slippery little fish-girl she is!
Of course, keeping the same ships would leave you with:
Ten Numb w/ Marksmanship
Dutch w/ Ion Cannon
Not sure if that's the best list ever, but man, Ibby set up like that is a lot of fun, unless you run into Soontir Fel
Outside of some pretty specific conditions Autoblasters are bad. It can be good IF you are facing high agility ships and have a reliable way of getting shots off at R1 but outside of that rolling four Red dice will often do just as much good. Also remember that dice can still cancel [crit] results and that an autoblaster allows those [crit] results to be cancelled before [hit] results.
I almost read that as BBW squad.
And the first thing I thought was Before Battle of Yavin.
