Here's a thread to share our experiences buying the Tantive in the UK, since the release date is two days away (according the the Upcoming page).

I've got a pre-order with Amazon ( £57.77) , but I've also got a Notify Me with Book Depository - if they get them in before Amazon dispatch mine I'll order with them.

What about you? Anyone got any advice? Let's hope this release is more like Imperial Aces were we got them around the same time as those in America, rather than being like the Transport where nobody knew when they'd arrive here.

I just wanted to say that I read the thread title, and immediately heard Johnny Rotten singing "Tantive in the UK" in my head.

Whilst im not buying the tantive, ( saving pennies for the wave 4 ships ) I'd order it from miniature market and have it in a week - what I did for the gr75...

It should be in the next fortnight, my LGS was saying that it was expected in their Esdevium delivery this week.

I was trying to work out why the RRP was £75 and then I saws photo of the size of this thing, it's unreal.

I have been told by my lgs that it should be in this week aswell

I've just had a dispatch confirmation e-mail that my Tantive IV is on it's way from Amazon.co.uk. Also had it pre-ordered for £46.69. Hopefully if should arrive on Saturday! Happy days!

I've got mine ordered from Amazon and they are still listing as out of stock and will notify me when they have a delivery date. Did the same with the transport and they've turned it into a complete pigs ear! Annoyingly a couple of local stores have contacted me to show it in stock but its at full RRP and I've got it with Amazon for £45. AHHHH Frustration!

I know what you're all thinking - why's he have an HP mouse but a Dell keyboard? Well, the short answer is they won't buy us Macs, the long answer is when we moved from Dell to HP I kept my old keyboard as I like the volume knob.

What are the actual dimensions of the model once it's out the box? I mean the cuboid it would fit into for storage etc?

I opened my Transport at work. Then played a full game of X-wing. Was a good day. The kid I was mentoring thinks the Transport is a beast. He ran over his own Chewie with it though...

Pre-orderd Jan second, Amazon did a deal for both for £80, transport was just over £33 and the corvette was £46

I make it 33cm by 10cm by 7cm, off the base.
