Hey Guys, after getting my shiny new transport (love the model!) and browsing trough the cards this list spawned in my head. It's the known focus loop with Garven and Kyle but with the option to load up on focus with Garven and restore his shields while the focus keeps on recycling.

Go slow before the first engagement to charge up Kyle's focus stack. At the first engagement let the Rookies TL and give them a focus with the 2 named pilots and blast away! Garven is Vital to this list, so a soon as he takes damage start doubleing up on focus and use 1 for regenerating shields, putting them in Kyle-recycle-bin-Katarn for use in the next turn(s).

What do you think? Is the idea viable? Do you see any optimalisations? What targets would you prioritize?

Kyle - Garven focus loop is fun idea, with one big problem, loosing one part of combo makes other part pretty useless. To be perfect this needs 3rd part - Biggs to take all hits, but that leaves you with only 17 points for 4th ship, and before wave 4 and rebel aces it limits you to prototype pilot.

Edit. You can even give R5-P9 to Biggs for even greater survival boost

True, but since Kyle does only 1 damage and Garven can regenerate both are a unatractive target. Killing either destroys the loop but the focus sharing continues.

Kyle with crow title screams for blaster turret, and after aces are released and you get you hands on chardan refit you can even add recon specialist to Kyle

Stock A-wings are pretty lackluster. Their strength lies in the EPT (soon 2x EPT!) on cheap pilots. I'd rather have Kyle support the others than him doing direct damage to keep him low on the priority list and without blaster recon+Crow is overkill.
